The Arsenal, is a collection of programs throughout Hampton Roads. It is for new ventures and companies that want to grow fast and validate their assumptions. We especially love helping technology-enabled companies founded by veterans, military families, women, and minorities. Incubators, not only provide a structured program to help validate and grow your business, they also provide working space at below market rents, shared services and a host of other assistance designed to take small businesses from concept to market. Incubators are for those businesses who are further along in the validation phase of their operation and who need some longer term assistance in addition to a structured training program. Launchpad, based in the New Town section of Williamsburg. Its mission is to fosters a successful entrepreneurial community by providing the facilities, advisory services and amenities that will allow businesses to start, grow and reach their highest potential to benefit the Greater Williamsburg communities.
Peninsula Technology Incubator, based in Hampton, is dedicated in helping start-up technology companies build the future. Emerging technology is a market that is driven by dreams. Just a few years ago, most would have not understood the role technology plays in our daily lives. From national defense and consumer gadgets to social media and the role it has played in connecting our world and uniting causes, innovation is all around you.
Franklin Business Center, is a four-story, 40,000 square foot, fully renovated and restored mixed use incubator located in Historic Downtown Franklin. The building houses office space, support staff and programs that nurture young firms and expanding businesses. This specific type of incubator program is designed to assist these businesses during their first few years of operation when their needs usually outpace their ability to provide for themselves making them more vulnerable to failure. The Franklin Business Center also provides hands-on management assistance, access to equipment and exposure to critical business and technical support services under one roof.
ODU Innovation Center, based in Norfolk fosters creative community with a fresh Co-working Space in downtown Norfolk and the Startup Lab: an incubator program for high-growth, scalable, innovation-driven business ideas.
1701 Coworking Space: Located in the ViBE section of Virginia Beach, this space is designed to assist both existing and aspiring small business owners through training, mentoring and providing a collegial workspace with like-minded individuals.
